BORN OF FRUSTRATION
I established Quick Start Art® Workshops back in 2012. Drawn from my thirst for knowledge, the workshops were formed from the countless books, videos, articles and workshops I devoured in order to to learn more about the subject I love.

KEY FOUNDATION SKILLS
Learn the key foundations skills you need to start, or continue, your artistic journey and transform your artist ambitions. They’re basically everything I wish I’d been taught at college. My workshops have been the turning point for many frustrated painters and I get great pleasure from watching my students grow into professional artists.

DESIGNED FOR ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE
My workshops are designed for complete beginners and intermediate artists alike, even professional artists have attended and found them inspiring. They’re structured in a way that’s there’s something for everyone and no-one is left behind.

FUN, FUN AND SOME MORE FUN
The emphasis is very much on having fun. Throw out your ideas of the frustrated artist, with the right tuition the learning curve can be fun and rewarding experience.

NOT LIKE OTHER WORKSHOPS
I don’t just give you a space to work in, I break down the painting process for you into easily digestible chunks and then demonstrate each stage as we move our way through the painting together. I then give advise and encouragement to enable you to paint your own mini-masterpiece.

COLOUR MIXING DEMYSTERFIED
Colour mixing is central to all of my workshops. You will be shown how to use the 12-step colour wheel and learn a 3-step colour mixing formula that will remove the headaches from colour mixing and allow you to consistently mix the correct colours you need every time.

TRY BEFORE YOU BUY
ALL materials are supplied for the day in my workshops. NO expensive kit-lists to buy, sometimes before you even know if you want to take up the medium. AND we only use the best Rosemary & Co brushes and Michael Harding oil paints too.
